What is a Graduate Job?

A graduate job provides the graduate with training and insight into essential parts of the business area of the employer. Graduates will often participate in various educational seminars and networking events in order to gain insight into the employer.
Graduate jobs are aimed at talented newly graduates within almost all academic fields. Graduate jobs are offered by companies, international-governmental organisations, non-governmental organisations and public institutions.

Spain

Spain is a country and member state of the European Union located in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula. On 1 January 2002, Spain ceased to use the peseta as currency replacing it with the euro, which it shares with 15 other countries in the Eurozone.

In 2008 the population of Spain officially reached 46 million people, 88% of which are native Spaniards.

Working in Spain

Spain is a developed country with the ninth largest economy in the world by nominal GDP, and very high living standards, including the tenth-highest quality of life index rating in the world. During the last four decades the Spanish tourism industry has grown to become the second biggest in the world, worth approximately 40 billion Euros.

Spanish territory lacks petroleum so alternative sources of energy is a strategic point. It has reached important records. In 2010 Spain overtook United States as the solar power world leader, with a massive power station plant called La Florida, near Alvarado, Badajoz.

The automobile industry in Spain is a large employer in the country, employing 9% of the total workforce in 2009 and contributing to 3.3% of the Spanish GDP, despite the decline due to the economic recession of the past couple of years. In 2009, Spain was in the top ten of the largest automobile producer countries in the world.
