What's in it for you?
The Junior Executive Programme is our 1-year programme for talented recent graduates. As opposed to our Global Graduate Programme, you will not rotate between different teams. Instead, you will become an integrated member of a team for a full year. You will work alongside experienced professionals, whose guidance and coaching you can use to develop yourself professionally. The programme facilitates a rapid learning process that will help you get ready for a permanent position at BAT.
From day one, we will challenge you and give you responsibility. This allows you to develop your career as an international business leader with the required support at every stage of the process, including on-going feedback and coaching.
We take great pride in growing talents from within. Therefore, there is a great chance for a future at BAT once the programme has finished. In the last three years, most of our Junior Executives have been promoted to a permanent position - all within their first year.

To be qualified for our Junior Executive Programme, you need to be a recent graduate. The majority of our current Junior Executives have a background in Marketing, Communications or Finance. However, some roles require a background in IT, Business Intelligence or Supply Chain.
As for your role, you will be placed in departments such as Business Intelligence, Finance, Talent Management, etc. It all depends on which area you are interested in. Throughout the programme, you will experience and receive on-going coaching and online training to ensure you are getting the most out of your Junior Executive Programme. This most often leads to a discussion on a potential future role at BAT: A discussion that for most of our Junior Executives ends with them being promoted to a permanent position.
Are you ambitious, mature and structured? Then you have what it takes. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a track record of high performance and results. You are also an advanced Excel and PowerPoint user. You have experience from either an internship or a student job.
Since our corporate language is English, you need to be fluent in English. It is a plus if you are fluent in a Scandinavian language. However, this is not a requirement.
