Technician in R&D Microbial AnalysisWe are looking for a dedicated technician to join Microbial Analysis, a key player in the R&D organization of Chr. Hansen.
Microbial Analysis develops and validates microbial methods and assays for cell counts, contaminants, and product performance, including stability studies for the probiotic products.
We work according to GMP standards and provide scientific and analytical support to the rest of the organization throughout the entire development process, from inoculant to final product.
We have a focus on novel and automated microbial methods but also work extensively with classic microbiology.
A job focusing on microbiologyYour assignments will be solved in close collaboration with the other laboratory technicians and scientists in the department as well as in project teams across several departments. You will primarily be working on the following type of tasks:
- Development, validation and optimization of microbial QC release methods
- Analyses of probiotic products in relation to stability measured by CFU methods, and performance analyses
- Control, calibration, and qualification of equipment
- Planning, executing, reporting, and concluding on analyses made in the laboratory in collaboration with the relevant scientist
Who are you?You are trained as a laboratory technician, and it is key that you have a strong interest in microbiology. You enjoy working with colleagues with different cultural and professional backgrounds and master the English language both written and oral.
While collaboration is important to our success, you also need to thrive in handling your tasks independently and take individual initiative. We are looking for a person with the following profile:
- Positive and flexible attitude towards challenges
- Responsible and curious by nature
- Experience with microbial methods or analysis of products for dietary supplements or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with GMP will be a clear advantage
