We have an excellent opportunity within the Trust for a Consultant based within the General Adult Service. We have a superb range of packages to offer the successful candidate.
The post holder will principally provide leadership and senior medical input to the Westlands Acute Treatment Unit. As the Consultant Psychiatrist at Westlands you will work as part of a confident and developed clinical MDT in our 18 bedded female Treatment Unit. You will work with an innovative model of treatment in our inpatient system comprising a 7 day assessment unit, 1 male treatment unit 1 female treatment unit (this job) and 1 mixed gender unit. As such you will have the support and cross cover of colleagues in general adult psychiatry, regular teaching and peer groups and an MDT which includes inpatient psychology, occupational therapy and nursing staff.
