An Equipment Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoots and performs repairs on the tool sets in their area to ensure availability for production and maximize tool up time.
They must have experience with performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical tool sets from manufacturers such as Applied Materials, LAM Research, and other semiconductor vendors.
They must have good communication skills and be able to work and coordinate with their supervisor, peers and tool operators.
They will assist on projects for continuous improvement of toolsets and their preventive maintenance procedures.
They will work with the Equipment Engineer to develop better procedures and processes relating to the equipment maintenance.
Work with the Process Engineers to assist in the optimization of the processes running on the toolsets under their responsibility.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics or electronics technology or relevant technical discipline plus 2 years of experience, or, alternatively, an associate’s in Electronics Technology or relevant technical discipline plus 4 years of experience (foreign educational equivalent degrees accepted).
Must be able to work in a cleanroom environment. The ability to gown and disgown, wear cleanroom attire, and other protective equipment as needed
Must be able to work in small spaces that would require standing, bending, leaning, reaching, etc.…
Must be able to have use of both hands to use mechanical equipment, grasping, twisting, pulling, pushing….
Will sit at desk, using PC and monitor equipment for short periods throughout the day
Must be able to work 10 – 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
