Real Estate & Development (RE&D) is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple’s workplaces and workplace services. Print Services (part of RE&D) is responsible for providing well-managed, forward-thinking print solutions for Apple’s corporate employees around the globe. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a “can-do” attitude to drive all aspects of daily operations, including rolling out print services for new buildings, handling printer moves, and refreshing expired printers.

Key Qualifications Key Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience as a managed print services project manager or similar experience
  • You know how to add value in a team environment and are skilled in printer assessments, process improvement, fleet management, and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with print software—experience with ServiceNow and ServiceNow Asset Module is a plus
  • You understand networking terminology and protocols (e.g., hostnames, IP, subnets, printer certificates, etc.) and are skilled in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to summarize and share relevant information in a clear and easy-to-understand way, across all levels
  • You take complete ownership, are highly organized, and have a track record of meeting deliverables—you don’t need to be reminded to follow-up and follow-through and are comfortable delegating work to team members
  • You dig into the details to ensure accuracy
  • Able to deliver high-quality results, with limited direction, in an environment where expectations are high and timelines are challenging—you multi-task and establish priorities, including daily re-prioritization
  • You focus on delivering great customer service and are responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Self motivated as well as a motivator of others

Description Description
You’ll be involved in all aspect of our program and take on a team lead role to ensure projects are successfully completed. This includes helping users and responding to tickets; meeting with users to understand print requirements and recommending printers and placements; printer procurement; scheduling installs, moves, and returns while coordinating details with users, partners, and vendors; handling printers throughout the lease lifecycles; collaborating with IS&T on technical matters; addressing vulnerabilities with InfoSec; establishing par levels for printers and consumables at the warehouse; etc. Communicate project status to users, partners, and managers Manage multiple projects, setting priorities with measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress, and results Formulate and execute project plans, helping run the project teams to complete on time Develop and document best practices, updating them as needed Ensure compliance with Print Services’ and Apple’s policies Facilitate tight inter-team coordination/communication and end-end visibility; review reports and escalate to Print Services Manager Remain flexible to working before or after hours to assist teams in different time zones Database management: research and resolve discrepancies, and maintain printer records Warehouse management: supervise printer warehouse activities and inventory levels Manage group’s email inbox and ticket system; collaborate with manager to assign actions to the team Assign work to and communicate with onsite vendors (Print Services Site Operations Managers) Submit site secure access requests Ensure data destruction occurs in accordance with Apple Information Security guidelines Coordinate training from vendors
