About the opportunity
Deloitte Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a leading supply chain professional tojoin ourexpandingSupply Chain practice.If youarelooking for a high impact role helping major organisations achieve their goals throughtheir end-to-endSupply Chainfrom planning & procurement through to manufacturing and distribution, then this is the role for you.As a Manager, you will work as part of amulti-disciplinaryteamand your rolewill involve the following responsibilities:
  • Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilise and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; manage engagement risk; directon-timeand quality deliverables.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision-makers at key clients; organise and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
  • Activating the supply chain offering by building relationships with existing and new clients to extend and win new work for the firm’s supply chain offerings.
  • Working with the firm’s Irish and global teams to develop and leverage Supply Chain offerings that resonate within the Irish market andbeyond.
  • Develop practical solutions and methodologiesthat feed into the firm’s Supply Chain Offering.
  • Coach and guide junior staff; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff.
  • Help shapethought leadershipthat addressesthe latest in supply chain innovation and digital supply chains.
  • Workingwith a variety of high-profile clients across key industries such as Consumer& Industrials,Life Sciences andTechnology, Media & Telecoms.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • University level degree with strong numerical, analytical and excellent story boarding skills.
  • Minimumof5years of experience in Supply Chainroles, preferably a balanced mix of consulting and industry experience.
  • Experience of influencing inhigh-profile, complex situations where stakeholders do not always agree about methods, decisions and strategic direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and applications that support Supply Chain activity (e.g.SAP).
  • Experience either from within industry or consultancyacross Consumer & Industrial Products, Life Sciences or Technology, Media & Telecoms.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and to think creativity to solve client issues.
  • Ability to identify and convert leads into on-sell / cross-sell opportunities, write winning proposals and lead bid teams.
  • Experience in project delivery environment, including but not limited to pace of delivery, organizational & people change management, stakeholder management.
