Product Manager — Marketplace Core Research en Spotify

We are looking for a creative and passionate Product Manager to join the Marketplace organization, Spotify’s division dedicated to helping artists thrive! Our mission is to create tools that help artists and their teams build an audience, monetize their fans, and live off their work. A new research team within the Marketplace Core group has been spun up to help find new ways of using Spotify data to empower artists and advance their careers.

You will help set the roadmap for the research team, coordinating with your counterparts across the company to align on the highest impact work the team can deliver. You’ll help the team lead intake and prioritization processes, gaining an in-depth understanding of and contributing to strategy at the Mission and company level. You’ll work with researchers to set goals and milestones for projects. Driving adoption of research outputs via tech transfer efforts and teamworks, and working with and across a variety of engineering squads.
What you'll do
  • Take ownership of our research-to-product strategy and roadmap.
  • Craft product requirements based on discussions with internal customer teams and researchers.
  • Devise roadmaps to continuously evaluate and prioritize highly innovative product concepts.
  • Define robust MVPs, A/B tests and other evaluation methodologies to understand the value of new products and features.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to continuously de-risk high-value product opportunities.
  • Define, communicate and debate product strategy with research leadership and stakeholders across the Marketplace mission and Spotify.

Who you are
  • Experience working as a product manager, or related role, in projects involving machine learning technologies.
  • Operating in highly experimental contexts, working with teams throughout product discovery processes, rapid prototyping, and data-informed experimentation.
  • Hands experience in developing a long-term roadmap for a new suite of products.
  • Possess a strong bias for execution, shipping product, and delivering customer value.
  • You can navigate ambiguity and can distill solutions from a broad problem space.
  • An excellent communicator and can balance the needs of partners from different domains and teams.
