Position Description:CGI is seeking a Financial Audit Liaison resource to support financial audit and financial management activities at a Government Agency. Candidate will join a team that provide services in the areas of grant, budget, and financial management for a large federal agency.
Your future duties and responsibilities:The individual will be involved in a variety of financial management, audit, and financial reporting tasks to meet the client objectives. This may include:
- Participates in conference calls with customer pertaining to various audit concerns;
- Assists in preparing follow-up letters/memos, requesting action per the Customer's Audit -Performs necessary audit follow-up with contract staff pertaining to various audit reports and -Maintains Audit Summary Spreadsheet for tracking of audit progress;
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Demonstrated audit experience in the federal government or private sector arena is required. This individual shall have at least 4 years’ experience successfully participating in completion of similar projects. Strong analytical and written skills are required. A bachelor’s degree in business, audit, or finance preferred. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, seven (7) years’ experience performing similar work.
