Logistics Agent en Bombardier Transportation

In your role, you will:
  • Ensure the timely delivery of parts.
  • Work alongside Procurement and 3PL to ensure delivery of components on-time
  • SupplyComponents to Assembly Line as Needed
  • Harmonize, Communicate, and Resolve Issues relating to external suppliers not meeting schedule requirements.
  • Initiate and coordinate with other departments such as Engineering, Methods, Quality Assurance, Operations and other Material Logistics functions to resolve problems concerning delivery, component discrepancies, and lead times with external suppliers
  • Manage inventory level and recommend necessary changes to support assembly line.
  • Manage incoming shipments (traffic in-bound).
  • Ensure documentation is compliant to internal and external regulations (snags, C of Cs).
  • Participate in improvement projects and demand to supply process (cost reductions, Six Sigma, manufacturing improvements, TAC, BMIS, SAP, etc.).


As our ideal candidate,
  • You have a bachelor's degree in administration or operations management or similar experience
  • You have (2-5) years of experience in Materials or Inventory Management.
  • You have basic knowledge of MRP principles and supply chain management -experience or knowledge of SAP - Asset.
  • You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer-focused.
  • You have good analytical, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • You have working knowledge of MS Office, email and web-based applications-Excel being most critical.
  • Knowledge/experience with hardware and chemical management a plus.
