Must possess a strong Electro-Mechanical background.
Ability to logically troubleshoot, isolate and repair any deficiencies in the installed equipment which includes robotic and automation analyzer type equipment.
A clear understanding of basic electronics, basic electricity, small valve operations, actuators, positioners and other automation type sensors
Comfort with interfacing with the customers Electrical and Instrumentation shop and giving hands on training to those personnel as required.
Able to write clear reports explaining the issues found and work accomplished.
Electrical and Instrument understanding. (E&I skills) (E/I Skills)
Knowledge and ability to understand how the papermaking process works and ability to understand how the controls work around the papermaking process.
Good computer skills with some experience with Microsofts Suite of Products: Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams etc..
Ability to build long term relationships inside and outside Valmet’s organization
Performing Spare Parts Audits and making recommendations to the customer of parts to purchase and stock at site.
Good finger dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds on rare occasions.
