Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and assembly of Tunnel Boring Machine electrical systems
  • Trouble shooting and repair of electrical Tunnel equipment
  • Installation and assembly of electrical systems within the Tunnel

Qualifications

  • Five years in construction or an electrical discipline or equivalent combination of experience and technical training.
  • Proficient knowledge of Tunnel Boring Machines electrical and control systems
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electric Code, Medium Voltage Systems and Control Systems.
  • Must be able to work underground.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced project site environment; must be able to interact professionally with all employees while safely managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen; occasionally lift and move up objects up to 50 pounds. Work above and below ground in ambient conditions.
