Carbon is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) that has a high-level of energy. This individual must possess the willingness and ability to learn Carbon's technology and Product offerings. Using the skills you have along with the new skills you will acquire at Carbon create high quality sales opportunities with startups, mid-market, enterprise, and educational customers. You will play a critical role within our Sales Organization by prospecting, discovering, and increasing industry specific sales pipelines. You must be able to identify the best fitting customers for our technology, qualify them, and help nurture relationships leading to sales. You must have the drive to achieve ambitious goals and work with the team to streamline operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the SDR Team, Sales Leaders, and Sales Directors to build a global pipeline and create a strategy for approaching targeted accounts
    • Identify and prospect key target accounts and convey the Carbon value proposition to C-level executives using custom emails and phone calls
    • Respond to all inbound leads and determine if they are a viable opportunity to pass to Sales Directors
    • Manage, track, and report sales activities & results using Salesforce and
    • Keep up with the evolving additive manufacturing industry and the various technologies within that space
    • Research and understand the manufacturing space as a whole
    • Secure purchase orders from customers on anniversary dates
    • Close new business in the Educational space

Key Qualifications

    • 4 year degree from an accredited university
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills
    • Self driven and performs equally well as an individual contributor as well as in a competitive sales environment
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes
    • Demonstrated overachiever
    • Tech-savvy
    • Disciplined and strong work ethic

Bonus Points

    • Hardware selling experience
    • Experience selling to C-level decision makers
    • Prior experience in lead generation, sales and/or marketing
    • B to B sales experience
