Training General Management Consultant
Key Role:
Support Booz Allen Hamilton's management consulting team by analyzing and executing organizational improvement strategies and client projects. Develop strategies for organizational improvement and learning projects and perform analyses of the IT training program at a national agency. Make recommendations to modernize training program and otherwise improve efficiency and deliver instructor-led and virtual training solutions to staff on the client site. Support outreach and strategic communications efforts executed by the client and manage course creation and scheduling in a learning management system. Design and implement strategies for metrics, project management, and business process mapping and coordinate with a diverse group of stakeholders to conduct these activities. Learn quickly and complete important assignments on a short schedule. Contribute functional expertise to the management of client deliverables, develop client-ready products, including trainings, briefings, reports, and internal communications, and leverage industry best practices in instructional design.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with training, learning, or instructional design
  • 1+ years of experience with data gathering and analysis
  • Experience with ​Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook
  • Ability to assist with evaluating training requirements and identifying training objectives
  • Ability to coordinate and build relationships with diverse and executive-level clients
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment and be proactive with little direction
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio, Project, and Adobe Captivate preferred
  • Experience with Mac OS and tool suite preferred
  • Experience in working with government organizations or clients in a consulting environment preferred
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including deck writing
  • Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ISD Certification preferred
