AMD Research seeks a highly qualified candidate to explore perform research involving the design and optimization of large caches for future AMD CPUs, GPUs, and APUs. Job duties include developing simulation infrastructures and evaluating architectural designs. A strong candidate should have solid computer architecture background (cache, NoC, and/or memory system expertise preferred), strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, and good communication and writing skills.The ideal candidate will be in a PhD program and will be able to demonstrate research experience through publications or patents.
