We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Sales Manager for our Bismarck, ND location.

Summary

In this role, the selected candidate will execute marketing and sales strategies and examine marketing and sales statistics. The Territory Manager is responsible for increasing the Carrier customer base by analyzing the territory, maintaining productive relationships with existing customers, and actively recruiting new customers through various forms of communication and execution of established sales programs.

Key Responsibilities


  • Establishes and manages high quality customer relationships by maintaining knowledge of brand sales messaging, executing planned programs and achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in training programs.

  • Makes compelling and persuasive sales calls to designated customers resulting in sales of CE products.

  • Manages sales territory as a business to maximize sales.Analyzes market dynamics to ensure territory sales goals are met.Develops and implements own territory business plan in line with corporate strategy while working within budgetary guidelines.

  • Continually recruits new customers to grow revenue and market share.

  • Utilize company software to track and enhance customer-centric focus.
    Skills

  • Demonstrated performance history in HVAC sales and new market development

  • After Market HVAC experience highly preferred

  • Highly motivated self-starter

  • Strong business/problem solving skills, high sense of urgency and strong communication/interpersonal skills

  • Must be action oriented and have proven ability to drive results

  • Prior work experience and/or internship experience in sales or marketing is a plus

  • PC literacy required
    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have strong customer service soft skills and ability to perform in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and have good computer/data entry skills; should be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based applications.

  • Must possess the ability to problem solve and multi-task.

  • Our products are commercial and residential HVAC parts and equipment, so experience working with contractors in a B2B environment is beneficial, but not required.

  • AA/AS degree with 3-5+ years’ experience preferred, but not required.
