Join us and become Student Assistant in Market Trading where you’ll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. You’ll be part of the Nordic Power & CO2 trading team. Our key objective is to optimise our power portfolio and ensure the best possible return. Your main tasks will be to assist in the automation of processes and the improvement of our analytical capabilities.
We’re a small team consisting of four professionals based in Virum, moving to Gentofte in Q4 2019.

Your key tasks will be to

  • assist in improving, re-inventing and digitalising our existing processes, e.g. by developing a statistical assessment of weather data collected on a daily basis
    • optimise Excel-based models and ensure consistency

  • systematically follow up on capacity auction results etc.
  • assist in the implementation of advanced analytical approaches, e.g. machine learning
  • extract data from various sources and visualise this information.

Your competences include that you

  • have strong programming skills in Python
  • have machine learning knowledge (e.g. sklearn, keras); this is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • have an interest in data and statistics
  • possess strong analytical capabilities.

Furthermore, you’re a curious learner and have a proactive approach to your work tasks, and you’re a team player. Finally, you speak and write English fluently.
