Overview

We are seeking a Social Media Content Manager to manage an established yet still growing social media presence, developing our community and ensuring Anthropologie delivers innovative and best-in-class experiences within the social media space.
The Social Media Content Manager is responsible for all social asset and content management, social project management, the social media editorial calendar, and influencer and partnership outreach. The right candidate will have a strong interest in social media and the commercial impact it has and be up to speed on all new and developing social media and digital innovations. You will be an integral part of the Creative team working closely and partnering with Merchandising to ensure product and messaging alignment and on-time deployment. As the Social Media Content Manager, you will partner with the Sr. Social Media Creative Manager to suggest creative ways to deliver creative goals and plan content, and with the help of Production manage the creation of original content. Most importantly, you will live and breathe social media, from photography and video to people and words.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Sr. Social Media Creative Manager to execute a social media strategy that is consistent with the Anthropologie brand image and messaging
  • Oversee and manage monthly social media projects from concept to final delivery with day-to-day activities including:
  • Own and manage the social media project tool ensuring that content and plan specific creative and marketing initiatives are aligned with key stakeholders and is updated daily
  • Be an active contributor to the monthly social media ideation meeting helping to develop and execute social plans, timelines, budgets and influencer outreach
  • Manage all content – images, video and copy for all in-house shoots and influencer partnerships.
  • Help to calculate and prepare weekly social reports, project, campaign and individual and seasonal influencer-specific reporting
  • Work with Production team to develop original content that complement overarching brand message and marketing programs either through in-house shoots or influencer gifting.
  • Oversee and manage monthly social media editorial calendar daily including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • Manage influencer outreach program by identifying relevant handles and engage in social conversation, working with talent to nurture relationships, build social influencer marketing campaigns, negotiate contracts and generate content
  • Manage the social media departmental budget, keeping records up-to-date and expenditures on track, providing reports weekly to the Sr. Director of Creative Production, the Sr. Social Media Creative Manager, and monthly to Finance
  • Helps to publish to Instagram bi-weekly with Social Media Coordinator to maintain posting cadence.
  • Partner with other departments and peers around key initiatives and campaigns to ensure 360 messaging and business relevancy
  • Partner with Sr. Social Media Creative Manager to lead customer acquisition efforts through innovative partnerships and initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of the social media landscape, developments, and trends
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the brand’s product, customer and policies
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding Fashion. Report notable threats to appropriate management.
  • Applies attribution best practices to image usage rights, copywriting & social media posts to ensure legal compliance.

  • Strong multi-tasking and analytical skills; ability to manage through a matrix.
  • Data enthusiast; demonstrated ability to find the data that tells the story and use it to pivot in order to see a greater impact.
