Job Description

Danfoss Residential Heating is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. Are you an expert in demand planning? Do you bring new and fresh ideas? Can you plan production to secure optimal utilization of flow and resources? If so, then you might be just whom we are looking for.

As our new Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for deliveries to our customers at the right time and correct quantity for one of our production lines in the factory. With some exciting projects on the horizon and new products coming to the market, your expertise and analytical know-how will be essential to help Danfoss deliver. You are, together with our sales and operation planning (S&OP) managers and other colleagues locally and globally, responsible for optimizing our cooperation to ensure the fundament for a world class customer loyalty.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Planning sales and operations in SAP.

Planning production.

Project management.

Maintaining production master data (new codes/deletions/changes).

Handling forecast.

Operational procurement of raw materials.

Managing inventory.

KPI reporting to production and management.

Developing and optimizing processes (future setup).

Coordination of demand, capacity and production prioritizations in cooperation with supervisors and sales.

Accountable for the process development and optimization to secure best practice across function areas and plants.

You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders such as production technicians, engineering, quality, logistic, commercial teams, supervisors and the team coordinators on the production lines.

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience within supply chain or production planning.

Knowledge of supply chain business processes, planning and controlling, and capacity planning.

The ability to quickly understand production processes, planning and supply chain technical issues and their effect on overall production planning.

We expect you to have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate level), and that you have experience or knowledge with SAP.

Project management experiences to both contribute to the project and lead the project at a certain extent.

Fluent in business English and Danish, both written and verbal.

Robust and dynamic.

Structured and able to coordinate many tasks at the same time.

Open-minded and a fast learner.

Both a team player and self-driven.

Used to working in an international environment.

Good in communicating across all levels in an organization.

Analytical and possess the ability to apply these skills to production planning.
