Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Production Engineer with a broad set of competencies to join our highly skilled and high performing team, which is part of the Controls Division and manufactures hydraulic valves and electrohydraulic actuators in a modern production environment.

In this role, you will be dealing with exiting, developing and future-oriented engineering tasks as well as more traditional ones. Your primary responsibilities will be to:

Ensure a stable operation of production equipment

Identify and complete optimization of processes and production equipment

Identify and manage System-, process- and equipment investment projects

Steer objectives and targets in a focused way and ensure continuous improvements

Take on the responsibility for IATF16949 compliance in production process documentation (PFMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, SOP)

Background & Skills

The ideal candidate will have a combined educational and professional background that matches the challenges of tomorrow. You have a relevant technical education at minimum Bachelor’s level in Production, Global Management & Manufacturing or similar, and you have developed a broad technical understanding within these areas, which is also driven by a natural interest. In addition, you have gained about 3-7 years of relevant work experience. Moreover, we expect you to:

Be experienced in LEAN manufacturing principles & SixSigma and have knowledge of requirements in ISO/IATF16949

Thrive in a role with a high degree of interaction with many different stakeholders in a leading global company and you should possess good communication skills

Have an eye for future technologies and opportunities

Have proficiency in English – written and verbal - and be confident using English in your daily work

Be goal-oriented, analytical and persistant
