Job Description

Danfoss Heating is looking for a Software Developer who wants to help us develop the world’s best heating controls and thereby contributing to Danfoss’ journey towards more energy optimized and IoT connected products. You will be a part of Danfoss R&D in Vejle, where you will join a team of highly skilled and dedicated colleagues.

Being part of our team, you will contribute with agile Software development with focus on short development and verification cycles that includes automated build and unit test environment.

In this role, you will develop software and advanced controls algorithms for superior heating systems, and you will participate in software testing and continuous integration to ensure high quality. Furthermore, you will ensure that the software design is modular, flexible, and robust, and you will ensure that the software development follows best practice principles and methods. You will contribute to development projects from specification, design, simulation to test, and doing this you will frequently interact with customers. Moreover, you will participate in test and verification – both simulated and in real test environments.

Background & Skills

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Controls, or Computer Science and you have at least 3-6 years of relevant experience. In addition, you should have strong skills and experience in the following programming languages and technologies:

Embedded C and RTOS

Battery operated devices with low MCU and memory footprint

Low power wireless network technologies (e.g. ZigBee)

Agile work methods as SCRUM and Continuously Integration

Knowledge about Controls, Modeling & Simulation would be an advantage
