About the role:
Business Development is a critical part of Chartboost's growth. Our goal is to be leaders in a fast-paced and innovative industry. This is an opportunity to join our team and drive client relationships and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the mobile ad network and game commerce space, is a self-starter who can own the cycle from prospecting through client onboarding, is comfortable operating in a constantly evolving environment to drive growth and efficiency in our network, has a passion for helping others and is curious to learn. This role has a focus on implementing and/or improving the monetization strategies of mobile game companies.

What you'll do:

  • In the first month, you will learn our systems and tools and become familiar with the mobile gaming market and our top priorities. Within the first quarter, you will create and run an outreach pipeline and start closing new business
  • You will be responsible for mobile games developer outreach. The main focus will be on the supply side (Publishers) who monetize their apps/games via ads. You will be identifying new prospects, creating and managing sales pipeline, and closing new business. You should have experience in sales or business development
  • Effectively build a prospect list and leverage a strong ability to transition prospects into clients
  • Focus on building relationships, knowing the numbers and systems of prospects and the tools they use in order to manage and optimize accounts
  • Understand the client’s business goals, anticipate future needs, and help determine ideal solutions
  • Collect and disseminate client feedback, product requests and needs to the Product team with quantifiable impact and justifications based on sound business cases
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Management, Ad Operations and other internal teams to ensure campaign success and communication
  • Lead trainings to enable clients to effectively use our products

Who you are:

  • You have 2-4 years of experience working at a high-tech, mobile or gaming company
  • Demonstrated sales and business development skills, with a track record of exceeding key performance metrics
  • Comfortable with targets and a sound commercial awareness
  • You're eager to travel around Europe, visit trade shows and Industry events, evangelize the Chartboost platform and have frequent meetings with your partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and methodical, with a consultative approach in addressing client needs
  • A strong and proactive planner, collaborator and organizer, a stickler for details and a master of multitasking
  • You are proud of your negotiation and prioritization skills
  • You're resourceful. If you don't know the answer, you won't rest until you find it
  • You know how to turn a customer into a Chartboost promoter. When they’re done with you, they’ll have tweeted and told all their friends that Chartboost is awesome
