Are you curious about:
- How artificial intelligence will affect our future?
- Whether virtual robots will disrupt our work lives?
- Or if biases in algorithms amplify social inequality?
Our TechAcademy program is a unique opportunity to work with the newest technologies and the brightest minds to develop your technical skillset.
The program provides a playground for students who are passionate about new technologies and want to solve real-life problems with feasible tech solutions. It is a place where tech and creativity merge together into a beautiful symbiosis. You will learn from field experts and connect with like-minded, tech-savvy students and professionals. The cross-disciplinary setting allows for creative collaboration, which we believe creates the best and most innovative ideas.
KPMG TechAcademy is not solely focused on the great things that different technologies can be used for. We also emphasize how to tackle the ethical issues that arise when working with technologies and data. We will discuss both ethical and social challenges that arise as we become increasingly entangled with technology.
The academy is held over four evenings spread across a school year. Each evening will have its own disciplinary focus that revolves around new technology. Participation in all sessions is a requirement, and the program dates are as follows:
- Friday, 8 October 2021
- Thursday, 18 November 2021
- Thusday, 10 February 2022
- Friday, 22 April 2022
As new technologies constantly emerge, the program may change – what is relevant today may not be relevant a year from now. We always want to be at the forefront of the latest technologies.
You are currently enrolled in a university study program (bachelor or masters). It is not a requirement that the studies are tech-focused. All we demand is that you are eager to learn and that you possess a sincere curiosity and passion for tech. Skills can be taught, whereas passion cannot.
TechAcademy is hosted by KPMG NewTech and is free of charge. By joining TechAcademy, you will also become part of the TechAcademy Alumni Network, where you will be able to meet former TechAcademy participants and meet professionals within the industry.
