Junior Social Media Manager at NORNORM

The role

As a Social Media Manager with NORNORM you will become a vital part of the marketing and communications team, supporting them with content in a number of channels on social media.

You will among other things have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing SoMe platforms:
    • Manages company social media channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and other relevant platforms
    • Engages in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
    • Uses timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits
    Content creation:
    • Creates dynamic written, graphic, and video content
    • Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
    • Creates short term content plans for NORNORM events
    Concept development:
    • Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns
    • Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content
    • Analyses and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects


We imagine that you have + 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role. You are used to working in a fast paced environment and thrive with changing challenges. In addition, we value the following qualifications and competencies:

  • Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Experience with other social media is a plus
  • Superior and persuasive communication skills, including the ability to proofread
  • Good copywriter in English
  • Knowledge of the following languages is an advantage: Danish, Swedish, Dutch or German
  • Possess a balance of creativity with good analytical skills
  • Experience in platform analytics an asset
  • Experience in Graphic Design is an asset
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Suite, Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop) is a plus
  • Video editing skills is a plus
