The department

Planning & Sourcing (P&S) is part of Product Center Allerød and works closely with multiple departments such as Development & Engineering (D&E), Global Operations (GO) and Manufacturing. In P&S we break down demand from both inhouse customers and affiliates in +30 countries spread across 6 continents ensuring delivery of Welltec’s high tech. solutions.

The Production Planners ensure efficient planning and production of mechanical parts for our Manufacturing site in Allerød while the Purchasers secure on-time delivery of various categories such as raw material, seals, lubricants and electrical parts etc. Welltec’s products will often be a combination of both internally manufactured and sourced parts, making P&S a focal point of contact for customers and an essential part of the supply chain.

Besides operational tasks, we continuously work with improvement of processes from development to implementation and monitoring through Excel and Power BI tools. Especially the latter has been a focus-point and the majority of our daily day tools and models are now “live” in Power BI, which supports optimal decision making.

The position

At first, the position will include operational/tactical production planning related tasks which will be a combination of order handling, standard cost prices, and folders in Dynamics Navision, prepare and participate in/manage daily planning meetings together with stakeholders from amongst others Manufacturing. The latter will include planning and prioritization of some of our key deliverables such as complete tool packages and bulk order spare parts ultimately securing on time delivery. Coordination between the various steps from drawing to finished product and stakeholder management across functions and areas is therefore a natural part of your daily work. Furthermore, you will be part of a small cross-functional team ensuring the production planning system ROB-EX is fully implemented

Over time it is expected you will take on and manage more strategic tasks and projects both in P&S but also across the supply chain in Allerød.

You will have an exciting, often yet challenging workday in the middle of complex supply chain, where your decisions will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver

The candidate

It is expected that you can work both independently and as a team member in a fast and flexible but simultaneously complex supply chain with a combination of both administrative, strategic, and ad hoc tasks.

You must have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and be able to use your analytical skills for decision making and build/improve processes when necessary. Patience and willingness to learn and excel within production planning/SCM are important factors for success in the role. Additionally we expect;

  • Bachelor or M.Sc. in Planning, Production, Business., SCM or similar
  • Extensive experience with Production Planning can make up for degree as per above
  • Fluency in oral and written English
  • Detail-oriented and structured
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a sometimes-hectic environment
  • “Get things done” attitude with a drive
  • Service-mindedness and flexible about work hours
  • Thrives in both office and shop floor environment
  • Willingness to grow professionally and personally
  • Experience with ROB-EX and/or Power BI is considered a plus but not a requirement
  • Experience with Dynamics Navision is considered a plus
