Looking for a Finnish-speaking student assistant to fill the position of project coordinator at a translation agency in Copenhagen

We are looking for a committed student with the right professional skills, responsibility and attention to detail who can step in as a project coordinator. Diction is home to a young and dynamic team that handles translations for Finnish, Swedish, Icelandic, Norwegian and Danish companies. As a project coordinator, your work will primarily consist of providing customer service for Finnish customers, contact with translators and project management.

Diction is a Danish translation agency growing in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. You will be part of a small, young and international team where team spirit and shared responsibility are the driving force behind all of our results and achievements. Diction has a flat structure and a strong entrepreneurial culture where only your only limitation will be how much you want to achieve. Essentially, you will be working from our office in Copenhagen together with the rest of the Diction team, but remote work is also a possibility.   


Duties as project coordinator for Finland: 

Communicating with both private and business customers from Finland, including preparation of customer offers. 

Planning of translation projects (calculate budget and prepare time horizon for the projects). 

Assignment of translation and proofreading tasks. 

Providing assistance to the project manager in recruiting translators and negotiating terms with the translators. 

Participation in evaluation meetings with the Finnish project manager and the director. 


We expect you to:  

Be able to start on 1 February 2023 or shortly thereafter. 

Be enrolled in a relevant higher education programme with a focus on communications/language or marketing. We’d be happy to have someone at the start of their studies – e.g. starting their bachelor's.  

Be able to work 2 days a week (about 16 hours a week). 

Have a solid business mindset and think in a solution-oriented manner. 

Have Finnish as your native language and be able to express yourself correctly in writing. 

Work systematically and with a good overview. 

Be optimistic by nature and contribute to a good atmosphere in the office. 


Diction can offer you:  

An hourly wage of DKK 150.00.
