Inside Sales Business Development Representative - German speaking at PTC

The Inside Sales (ISS) organization partners with our global marketing and sales teams to generate a customer pipeline and drive bookings from the inside. Besides pipeline and bookings contribution, in the last few years this team has been counted on as the talent pool for the PTC global sales workforce.

Your impact:

  • Conduct positive interactions with our existing customers
  • Grow pipeline by executing on market-qualified leads and prospecting within our install base of accounts
  • Great position to start or progress in your career in software sales with a focus on Internet of Things and Augmented Reality

You will be part of an international and energetic team within a multicultural environment where professionals from throughout Europe interact with current & future PTC customers. Peek inside the walls of PTC Familia in Barcelona:


  • Execute on marketing-qualified leads and prospect in existing accounts as well as targeting new logos
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development
  • Accurately record activities (calls, emails, demos) of leads within SFDC
  • Answer incoming calls and emails in relation to sales questions
  • Assist in the execution of campaigns within your territory
  • Work with cross functional groups such as Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Operations

  • Ability to adapt to change in a highly dynamic & multicultural work environment
  • Ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships over the phone

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluent level of English and German is mandatory: great written & verbal communication & presentation skills in both languages
