ASIC Design Engineer

Job Description
Provide customers with pre- and post- sales support, including review & assess RFQs and RFIs, completing feasibility analysis and verify customer deliverables & fab sign-off. The scope of work includes but not limited to:
  • Migrating customer's IPs to eASIC IP solution
  • Be the expert in eASIC design guidelines to help customer during the front end design phase
  • Running synthesis and clean up on linting and SDC issues
  • Customer design functional and equivalency verification
  • Implementation (Place and Route) of customer design in eASIC platform
  • Help to setup and debug customer RTL and GLS simulations
  • Conduct STA and timing ECO iteration during PnR
  • Conduct milestone reviews with customer and execute customer projects on-time and right-first-time
  • Involve in driving customer communications with packaging, IP and other internal engineering
  • Interact with other eASIC teams to improve and maintain the quality and productivity of eASIC platform.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
  • BSEE required; MSEE preferred
  • 7+ Years Industry experience is required. Job level will commensurate with experience.
  • Candidates with experience in front end RTL design or back end physical implementation (PnR) are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of ASIC chip design flow will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of FPGA technology is welcomed.
  • Knowledge of SERDES and IP application preferred.
  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to travel to customer site on request. This job may require travelling out of 10% of the time.
