Embedded software engineer needed for R&D to detect damages in future wooden constructions bij BeResourceful

Currently our solution measures moisture inside wooden components together with surrounding temperature, air humidity & air pressure to detect leakages in the area. Why? to work towards our goal of minimizing the amount of waste in the construction industry by detecting damages as they emerge.

We believe in the future of construction being in wood (Cross Laminated Timber), so we want to expand our offering to that segment.

We are curious to explore the possibilities of using sound/vibration based sensors to listen to how timber reacts to different environments and if it's possible to hear it deteriorate, insects biting into it and more.

Therefore, we are looking for a student with skills in embedded software, electrical engineering or photonics to lead the development of a new sensor integration for our IoT device.

We hope the student excels so much to join the team onwards in a paid position or as a potential co-founder.

We get plenty of data from our sensors and need to analyze it more intelligent. We have a hypothesis that the combination of the data coming in from these sensors could show groundbreaking patterns using Machine Learning.
