Visual Analytics is defined as the science of analytical reasoning facilitated by interactive visual interfaces. This science and its practice have many applications in marketing, finance, strategy, production planning, logistics etc.
Some possible research questions within the topic could be:
How are business decisions facilitated by Visual Analytics? What can we learn from companies already using Visual Analytics? How should Visual Analytics develop in the future in order to improve decision making in business?
Students are free to develop the project according to their own ideas and preferences and can expect master thesis supervision that may be online or on campus as needed. Remote work is possible.
