Our Exciting Opportunity!We are looking for a person who can help build a favorable environment for Ericsson’s and our customers’ success through thought leadership and trusted advice that proactively influences governments and industry organizations, in policies, legislation and regulations in the area of ICT and digital policy. You will join our European Affairs team based in Brussels being a part of our global Government & Industry Relations (GIR) organization.
You will:Work with and support the Director of Government and Industry Relations as well as the Head of the EU Affairs office on numerus topics and files of importance to Ericsson in Brussels.
Help write briefs, reports and papers.
Attend events, participate in key stakeholder meetings and offer administrative support.
Network internally to disseminate information, as well as capture input.
To be successful in the role you must have:Post-secondary degree in law, business administration, science or a similar area, or corresponding acquired skills/knowledge
Broad, general ICT/digital industry interest
An understanding and interest in EU policies, regulations and legislation, and associated processes, actors and relationships from a national, regional as well as a global perspective
Ability to identify, analyze and describe significance of regulatory (and related policy) initiatives and trends to the telecom market in general and to Ericsson’s business in particular
Previous internship/experience in the EU institutions is an asset though not mandatory.
Proficient in English (verbal and written) any other EU languages is a plus.
