About us:

We are a social business catalyzing sustainable environmental and social impact actions in our society, through multiple projects and collaborations. Sapient Social & Environmental Enterprises was established in 2016 and consists of a team of bright, young, inspired individuals. You’ll be part of our new project “CryptED” which will be helping in reshaping our society through the new and upcoming transformation of the financial system. The Cryptoverse as it is sometimes called, is vast, and sometimes counter-intuitive, therefore also hard to navigate through. Since this will be part of the next economy, it is vital that the players in it, namely, the users, know how to be part of it, and are aware of all the possible pitfalls, as well as opportunities. For that, education is necessary, more than ever, since the complexity is hard to grasp.

About the Position:

Knowledge Coordinator

Knowledge coordination is about gaining insight on how Sapient and the Crypto Edu Project function and finding ways to improve different aspects of our company: ensuring simplicity and accessibility in our online structures, document organization, communication, and more.

In such a large and constantly changing organization, Knowledge Coordinators are responsible for creating tools and processes that allow newcomers to adapt quickly and efficiently as possible to the current team and to access the information and knowledge they need in the easiest way possible.Knowledge Coordinators not only make sure that processes in our company are in order, but they implement new processes and organizational ideas that would improve the functioning of the company.

We are looking for an innovative Knowledge Coordinator intern to join our team and help us find a way to gain the most from our experiences both individually, and as an organization.

Your tasks will include:

  • Organizing, collecting and updating knowledge and information in a clear, accessible way and putting it together to be available to everyone in the project.

  • Understanding and communicating Sapient’s missions and values in a clear and accessible way for everyone.

  • Establishing an information architecture for multiple user groups, in a knowledge sharing environment.

    • Creating/establishing tools and processes that increase the efficiency and functionality of the organisation

    • Bookkeeping and record keeping tasks in in order to keep a large knowledge sharing environment organized and understandable

  • Locating and archiving institutional knowledge.

Internship Details:

Currently we are looking for a new intern to join us from next September or October, until December, for a minimum of 3 months.

Unfortunately the internship is unpaid, however you can choose the duration that suits you best (minimum of three months). Also you can choose your own working hours as full-time or part-time as long as you strictly follow the program you set for yourself.

The team is currently located in Lisbon and Amsterdam but due to Corona restrictions, it is also possible to work remotely from other cities or countries around the world. Currently we don’t have a fixed office but it is possible to work from various co-working spaces in the city or work from home.

About the team:

Our interns are called Padawans who are highly motivated to make the world a better place. The Sapient team consists of people who are team oriented, goal driven, proactive and open-minded. We work both in teams and individually. So, we are looking for like minded people to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and enthusiastic to share his/her ideas; someone exceptionally motivated who can deliver high quality results.

To keep the team spirit during the Corona times, we have team meetings at least once a week and once a month we organize Sapient Days with fun activities both online and offline in order to welcome new Padawans and to strengthen our sense of belonging. Be ready to get out of your comfort zone, while being rewarded with new skills and experiences as well. We would love for you to join our team!
