More information on our practice can be found here: https://www.edenred.com/en/medias/news-and-press-releases/agri-edenred-fully-digital-payment-solution-support-farmers-development-nigerOur latest video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZZgh3Xy1rE&t=3sWithin the Payments Solutions and New Markets (PSNM) business line, the Business Development Africa team is in charge of expanding the group’s activities in Africa through identifying strategic business opportunities and contributing to the team’s strategy and product development.MISSIONSBusiness Development (40%)- Contribute on building a database of potential partners in the targeted African countries (local organizations, business introducers, NGO’s & start-ups etc.)- Help on preparing Business Development meetings, ensure a follow-up with the contacts and help into making business propositions along with the Business Development DirectorMarketing (30%)- Help on building a new business brochure in line with the team’s strategy and the group brand image guidelines- Participate to brainstorming and follow-up meetings with the communication team and external partners- Initiate internal/external communication projects (Suggest ideas of a field-video, organize local workshops and business trip plannings)Finance/Strategy (30%)- Define KPI’s that will ensure a follow-up of the projects’ performance and profitability and make suggestions to improve them- Contribute on building a competitive intelligence research document to define potential competitors, and existing digital innovations in the continent (products, start-ups etc.)- Help the team to ensure reporting to the executive committee (Strategy, Operational business reportings, projects follow-ups etc.)The intern will report to the “Business Developer Africa”Mission duration: 6 monthsPROFILEBac +5, Business / Engineering school or university, gap year or final-year internship.A first experience in Strategy, Business development, Marketing or product development is idealInterest for technology / payment / African development related topicsStrong international background, first experience in Africa is a strong plusAbility to work collaboratively in a transversal roleMastering of Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Analytical and communication skillsFluent in French and English
