FCA North America is seeking an experienced and energetic IT Workforce Development Lead to ensure that ICT (Information and Communication Technology) has the talent and culture required to execute the digital strategy. The successful candidate will have experience developing and implementing programs to upskill and reskill ICT talent with a bias towards action. Recognizing our people are our most valuable resource, the ideal candidate will be dedicated to the development of the ICT workforce capabilities long-term.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Workforce upskill and reskill: Develop and implement a program to ensure ICT has the core technical capabilities to align with current and future business needs
  • Technical focus: Develop and implement technical interview framework
  • Career path: Identify, implement, and evolve technical career paths
  • Recruiting: Support college recruiting and summer internship activities for ICT
  • Development: Support the ICT Leadership Development, ICT Academy and Immersion Programs; grow and develop programs based on benchmarking and stakeholder input
  • Coordinate activities with stakeholders to streamline the delivery of the strategy

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in an IT organization across multiple functional areas in a technical role
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, multitasking, and time management skills with consistent attention to detail
  • Business analysis skills
  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Recruiting or talent development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix-management environment to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and management of multiple priorities with competing demands for resources
  • Proficiency in process formulation and improvement
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
