Job Overview
The Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) advanced development Automated Driving team is actively searching for talent to fill open positions for individuals specializing in automated driving verification and validation. The selected candidate will be immersed in a hands-on role, working with state of the art technologies, in a field experiencing rapid year over year growth. This team and the selected candidates are responsible for verification and validation of automated driving systems in Software in the Loop, Hardware in the Loop, and Vehicle in the Loop environments along with real world vehicle testing. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Test case development for automated driving systems, Test case execution for automated driving systems, Vehicle instrumentation, Real world data collection and data analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited program
  • 3 years of experience in a related field
  • System level knowledge of technologies and analysis required for validation of Automated Driving technologies
  • Test case development and execution for electrical/electronic components or systems
  • Experience in authoring system or component level requirements
  • Experience using vehicle CAN & Ethernet data logging and analysis tools, Example: Vector CANalyzer, CANOE, CANAPE
  • Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience — ability to speak to the level of your audience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science from an ABET accredited university
  • DFSS or SBT certification — or participation in several projects start through completion
  • Experience with Unified Diagnostic Services Protocol (UDS)
  • Experience with driving vehicles at handling limits
  • Experience with writing software (e.g. SysML, Model Based, C code, etc.)
  • Experience in generating statement of work/scope documentation or responding to request for quotes
  • Familiarity with system level re-simulation (i.e. HIL or SIL)
  • Experience with automotive data recorder systems
  • General working knowledge and previous exposure to ISO26262, SOTIF, and cybersecurity
