What's the role?Creating enthusiastic customers is part of our mission statement. We do this by providing innovative products. Technological leadership and the optimal manufacturing technologies, combined with the overall optimization of our supply chain allow us to achieve our cost and service level targets. As a fully integrated member of the Strategic Supply Team, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on one of the following topics:
- Cost Savings and / or New Product Introduction projects, or
- Value Stream analysis and optimization projects, or
- Develop Material Group Strategy and define Supply Footprint
This cross-functional project work requires intensive contact with Suppliers, our Plants, Development, Logistics and Marketing. It also provides ample management exposure and a unique opportunity to get an understanding of Hilti’s product development and product introduction processes.

What does the role involve?As an intern in our department, you will be fully involved in one or various projects as described above.
After an introduction period, you will take the lead for the respective project, including responsibility and accountability for the result

What you need is:
- Bachelor or (preferably) Masters student
- For the Cost Savings and New Product introduction position as well as for the Value Stream Analysis, engineering studies are a must
- Strategic and analytical thinking are a plus for Material Group Strategy Development
- Proficiency in MS Office
- A systematic approach and good problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
