Essential responsibilities and duties:

The role of a Site HR Manager is to implement strategic Human Resources policies and tools and to provide support to management on human resources related items.

The main missions of the role are:

  • Apply the principles and practices of human resource management to contribute to the success of the business.
  • Effectively manage interactions to provide service and lead the organization.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to organizational stakeholders.
  • Direct and contribute to initiatives and processes within the organization.
  • Effectively exchange with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Understand and apply information to contribute to the organization’s strategic plan.
  • Implement an efficient and integrated strategy for talent, recruiting, induction, training, career management, etc. at site level.
  • Effectively manage productivity calculations to ensure accurate headcount and understand when and how to flex resources as required.
  • Implement Group HR policies and processes within the site, including "Employee Empowerment", part of the Faurecia Excellence System.
  • Partner with the Plant Manager in the management of HR issues in line with business objectives.
  • Guarantee working conditions in compliance with Group Health, Safety & Environment policies.
  • Manage industrial relations with local employee representatives.
  • Report relevant HR information to the Division.
  • Ensure efficient payroll and administration processes.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
  • Utilize the Faurecia HR Leadership Competency Model to support in benchmark HR activities (see below)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related area of study
Ideal Education Level:Masters Degree with a specialization in HR, Labor Relations or MBA
Experience:
  • +10 years progressive responsibility in HR function within an industrial environment
  • Strong labor and employee relations background, preferably experience working within Union environment

and negotiating contracts.

  • Evidence of leading change and plant turnaround.
  • Drives people development change culture.
  • Excellent demonstratable experience with managerial courage.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams.
  • Experience working within a HR Business Partner model.
  • Lead company branding in the local market, community involvement, local relations, etc.

Skills and competencies:
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law
  • Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems, (ADP, SAP, Success Factors, etc)
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • People and organizational agility
  • Drive for results
  • Ability to build and develop an effective team
  • Conflict management
