Volvo Group Operations Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing the next generation of production plants or supply chain for manufacturing or service market and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 15 intense and exciting months, the program will give you a holistic view of the Volvo Group’s global truck manufacturing organization. You will get to know our different brands and their plants and learn about our logistics organizations and activities. You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business such as manufacturing, health and safety, quality, and continuous improvements, while also learning about the end-to-end supply chain, aftermarket parts, and our remanufacturing operations.
In parallel, you will grow as a person, through individual and team development sessions. You will have a permanent position from day one, with a manager and mentor to support you. You will have the opportunity for several “on-the-job” rotations and experience working on real project assignments. In addition, you will join a number of learning modules where you get together with other program participants to take part in training and events designed to help you grow into your future career at the Volvo Group.
You will support the Logistic Sustainability Manager with initiating and driving initiatives that are supporting our ambitious target of becoming the world’s most sustainable transport system by 2025. The initiatives will likely be connected to reducing transport demand, optimize transportation, and optimizing fleet efficiency. New digital technologies, analytics, and strong internal and external network together with an innovative mindset will be important assets in succeeding in the position.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A MSc in supply chain and/or logistics
- Strong knowledge in sustainability, preferably within the transportation domain
- Strong digital and analytical interest
- Used to handling large set of data, hands-on experience in Power BI and Qlik
- Have a holistic perspective and an eye for details
- Strong networking and communication skills
- Maximum two years of previous working experience, prior to or after graduation
- Solid English skills
- Valid work permit for applied country if not a citizen.
