Position Description:We are looking for a top-tier DevOps Engineer to be part of a large, hard-working team supporting a suite of major public facing websites and applications in different stages of modernization. You will support our client in the insurance space. We are looking for someone to help modernize and innovate our software development practices and processes and improving our AWS cloud infrastructure, product value streams, as we continue to deploy and release quickly for our clients. With your expertise with AWS and DevOps, you will work with an impactful team to craft and develop solutions to build Solutions.
You will work with a successful team to develop solutions for a major client. You will support and collaborate with the client daily in an Agile way of working. You will have the opportunity to show/grow with technology in a customer-facing role. You should be able to work independently under limited supervision and apply your knowledge. You should have sufficient knowledge and maturity to effectively take care of technical issues and help to support the broader team. Your success will be directly related to CGIs and our clients success.
This role must be located at one of the following locations: Bloomfield, CT; Lafayette, LA
Your future duties and responsibilities:Provision, operate and handle infrastructure on AWS Cloud
Build, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployments
Implement security controls and compliance requirements for AWS accounts
Log and monitor important network, system and application activity
Solve issues based on alerts and logs
System administration and operation activities
Establish interfaces with SAML/SSO providers@xxxx
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:BACHELOR’S degree in a technology with minimum of 5-7 year of work experience
Git, AWS CLI/APIs, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Graphana, Splunk
AWS services related to compute (EC2, Lambda), networking (VPC, Subnets, Firewalls etc.),
storage (S3, EBS), security (IAM), encryption (KMS, TLS), data and analytics (Redshift, Glue), AI/ML (SageMaker)
Tableau server management on EC2
