This multi-disciplinary group of engineers is responsible for architecture, design, and development of these highly complex sensing systems for all Apple products. The Imaging and Sensing group at Apple develops depth sensing systems such as the revolutionary True Depth camera that powers Face ID. This multi-disciplinary group of engineers is responsible for research, architecture, design, and development of future Apple products and technologies. The Imaging and Sensing group is looking for an extraordinary computer vision/ machine learning engineer to drive state of the art technologies for Apple products. As part of the team you would work in interdisciplinary team, that combines expertise in image processing, computer vision, deep learning, optics and mechanics. Our close-knit team fosters an environment of product innovation, rapid product iteration and collaboration at both team and multi-functional levels with a liberating amount of autonomy. We are looking for a creative and dedicated computer vision/machine learning engineer, optimally with experience in stereo-vision, depth technologies, multiple cameras calibration, optimization and deep learning. - Solid foundation in 3D geometry and linear algebra.
- Experience in camera calibration.
- Experience in Python and\or Matlab development.
- Profound knowledge in machine learning and deep learning techniques combined with practical experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar.
- Familiarity with depth sensing technologies - an advantage.

Develop and deliver high quality computer vision algorithms for existing and future Apple products.. Designing such algorithms to work reliably and efficiently on various Apple devices. M.Sc./Ph.D. in Computer Science / Electrical, Biomedical, Software Engineering / Mathematics / Physics in the domain of Computer Vision, Machine Learning or similar.
