Masters Candidate for Thesis Project on Solidarity hos Copenhagen Business School

The war in Ukraine represents the first major war in Europe since the second world war. This has created fear and concerns around the world as it involved super powers with nuclear weapons on both sides. In response, individuals, organizations, and countries have voiced their support for Russia and have condemned the actions of Russia.

Recently, research on solidarity with Ukraine has started to emerge (Josiassen 2022). The authors show that some individuals have a tendency for solidarity with Ukraine, and that individuals with higher levels of solidarity are more likely to visit Ukraine when it is possible again as well as willing to pay more for flying with airlines companies that guarantee not to rely on Russian energy. Further, Place solidarity was shown to negatively affect sentiments towards Russians.

This Thesis will dive into some of the many things we still do not know about solidarity and its effects on consumer behavior, HRM behavior, SCM behavior etc.

I'm looking forward to working with you.
